Do not give her coffee. I can’t tell you what she did….. or rather I can’t describe it, because some of it literally broke laws of motion and inertia.

I had to switch her espresso for decaf and trick her into drinking it.

Gifts from fans are nice but Surprise is strictly forbidden from accepting coffee or coffee making appliances at work again.

Rapidfire: My goggles? That’s unimportant. It’s not like I let some fan steal them, then spent the rest of the day angry because a Spitfire mistook me for Soarin, no not at all.

So All these commissions have me a biiit pony’d out. I know that sounds strange, but I kinda wanna do some other art while doing my commissions, so Echo will be going on an inactive vacation for a little while. I WILL BE BACK! He’s… Lockheed is… Lockheed is a pegasus without comparison. He is honestly one of the most enthusiastic ponies I’ve met, and one of the toughest flyers in the squad, even matching or beating Soarin’ in sheer wingpower. He never fails to find some way to get a little more out of a stunt, a few more bolts out of a cloud, or a crazier reaction from the fans. He’s also mighty good with fixing and maintaining gear, when the mood hits him. 

The Lockheed I speak of is also an unrepentant flirt and often speaks before his brain can catch up. He simply isn’t …well he’s not good with words. Lockheed is all instinct and reaction, which is great for flying at the speeds we do, but it isn’t such a great trait when trying to speak to a mare and repeatedly…. saying the wrong things in rapid succession. It’s due to his history, I think as a-

Whoa, I’d better stop there. I want to tell you why he has such a loose tongue but… the last trivial fact I revealed got me in a bit of a situation. Sorry fans, you’ll have to ask him yourself if you wanna know. I’ll give you a hint though: fame has been good to Lockheed. Before, he….well he didn’t have a lotta ponies to speak to. That’s all I’ll say. Given time, he’ll learn to curb his enthusiasm… though it may take a few more hooves to the noggin before he stops, quoting him here, ‘chasing all the mares and their wonderful plots’. *sigh* He’s younger than he looks, you’ll have to excuse him….

Rapidfire: Well first you are going on a ‘date’ with Blaze. You don’t have to have it be romantic but you will spend a night with her. Secondly you are going to pay for all the pies I bought Soarin to convince him to let me pretend to be his nephew. And finally my aunt has several bachelor auctions in the near future. You will participate in at least one. Do this and we’re even.

Rapidfire: Yes aunt. I’ll promote that for you as long as you invite a friend of mine to participate in as many bachelor auctions as you possibly can till I say to stop….Yes of course by invite I mean force.

Doc: Ya can call me whatever ya want. Only reason I call mysen Doc is cos of the pretty-boy. How e convinced us e was Soarin’s nephew fer so long is another question altogether!

The two Rapidfires are kinda unusual since they have so little in common.

Ra- er, Doc. Doc is a VERY experienced racer, Neighburg track champion, and a careful, methodical flyer in every aspect. He sees holes and flaws in techniques that could potentially ruin a routine, and tends to solve formation problems. He is surgically precise, if that has anything to do with his nickname.

I dunno much about the pony behind the suit, since he doesn’t speak much of himself. He’s a humble one. According to what I’ve found searching the ‘net though… he has a cousin somewhere in or near the Everfree Forest. I tend to avoid asking Doc about his family, since I don’t know him so well. I do know that he tends to exaggerate his age and history to avoid doing stuff though! Seriously, that is his natural mane color, he’s not old or worn out, and I GET TIRED OF CLEANING THE LOCKER ROOM FOR HIM. Hmph.

Rapid-gah so confusing sometimes- Ahem… Bluestreak, a genuine member of House Bluestreak, is a pony who has two talents: working hard and avoiding work. In rehearsals, he’s extremely dedicated, disciplined, and dynamic. Nothing will stop him from performing short of sickness or total injury to the point of unconsciousness. I guess it’s a family trait.

After performances, he is nothing like his ancestor (he’s actually a clever pony for starters). Bluestreak will avoid work purely to prove he can. He is probably the least goal-oriented pony I’ve met, despite his lineage and connections to Canterlot nobility. This makes sense though, since he’s already well-off in terms of bits and most of his downtime is spent avoiding stuff from nobles and family who want to use him for status purposes. Noble parties can be crazy events, as that last ‘auction’ proved to me.

…..gah. My left eye is still red from that one mare’s hoof polish splashing it it. The face-kick sure didn’t help it any. Nobles… sheesh. I can’t blame Bluestreak for preferring flight drills to fancy dress events.

Doc: I told ye I wasn’t feckin old!

Lockheed: Sure gramps. It’s not like you could have a friend cover for you…..wait…Rapidfire…Bluestreak…..whatever. Didn’t you say that Soarin was your uncle?

Rapidfire: (OOC: No I am not changing his name.) Yeah you see the thing about that…

Blaze: And how come we didn’t know about this nickname till now?

Rapidfire: Well um…is that Tyco with some flowers? And what are the other MARE Wonderbolts wearing?!
